At Sixes And Sevens

Release date: 25 March 11

Format: CD/Digital

Record label: Bodily Beats

Cat no: BODBEAT001

Type: Album

The second album captures more of the raw and energectic T.C. than its predecessor, and is packed with playfulness and heart. Described as a steamroller by some, it still embodies the beauty and inadequacy of the Clifton sound. From the monstrous opener ‘The upper hand’ to the tender ‘Rainy days or sunny days’, this album leaves no one unaffected – for good or bad. Lead singer Hallbom has stated that the track ‘Banging on the wall’ captures Tony Clifton better than any other song. Click here for the lyrics to the album.

White Elephant

Release date: 8 November 08

Format: CD/Digital

Record label: Bodily Beats/Sony ATV

Cat no: SAMPCD01

Type: Album

White Elephant captures the frailty and beauty of young Tony Clifton. With a crystal landscape of sound, the album is a true collection of songs that had evolved through a number of years. From the raw and juvenile ‘Oklahoma motorcars’, to the mature and dark ‘Take it out on me’, the album is, by definition, something that had been kept inside for a long time and was long overdue when released. Crowned by the monumental opening single ‘Deliverance’, this is a heart in a cage set free.

Tony Clifton EP

Release date: 24 November 06

Format: CD/Digital

Record label: Bricktop Recordings

Cat no: TC01

Type: EP

Tony Clifton’s self entitled debut-EP was a five track collaboration with american producer/drummer Brady Blade. It was a juste introduction to one of Sweden’s, at the time, most well sought after liveacts in the underground music scene . The opening track ‘Hand it over’ was (a bit surprisingly) one of the best selling singles online in Sweden in December of ’06, and the finisher ‘Kill your darlings’ cemented the roughness of the demo years.
